About us

The Software Product-Line Group at the University of Passau develops methods, theories, and tools to aid developers in software product-line engineering. The group concentrates on programming language support, generators, development and analysis tools, and practical case studies. A key objective of the group is to complement current research results and trends with high-quality lecture courses, seminars, and lab exercises. The group advises regularly bachelor's and master's theses, publishes on highly-ranked international conferences, and receives funding from several sources.

Funding

We acknowledge gratefully the support of the German Research Foundation (DFG) for funding the projects ExaStencils, Pythia, SafeSPL & SafeSPL++, FeatureFoundation, and MapReduceFoundation.

The group cooperates with a number of other research groups, research centers, and companies including the METOP Research Center and pure-systems.
